The Planet’s Having a Bit of a Cough

The Earth has got a fever now,
It’s wheezing rather loud,
The polar bears wear swimwear,
And the sea’s become a cloud.

The forests are on fire,
The ice has packed its bags,
The weather's gone all wobbly,
And the sun is waving flags.

I told the Earth, "Just rest a bit!"
But it gave a little glare—
"I would," it said, "but honestly,
You’re polluting all the air!"
